My son wanted these 15 years to replace the microphone on a tripod, and my headphones PX100 Senheisser. He loves to play Modern Warfare to 2 on the PC and was convinced that the Turtle Beach Ear force x11 improvement over the current system. Read reviews and save money and buy 'ear. Unfortunately, the Turtle Beach headsets terrible and He was very sad. There is a constant hiss from headphones. I'm 49 and I is hurt - my son 15 years, with more to damage hearing, is intolerable and can not more than ten minutes. I tried to remove the volume control on the headphones small and increase the volume on your computer, making it a little "better but still audible gasp. My guess is the lack of head protection during a short-line and headphones, and this white noise is the result. I can not comment, to whether the same happens on the Xbox, but we have tried on two PCs, and we had the same problem whistle. The sound quality was very bad - it was hard, brittle and slightly Bass. I think people who buy, do not want to musicality, but are more interested to hear where the clips or the next, but the sound quality inconvenient to use it for any length of unpleasant experiences. Great headset Saved My Relationship
This headset saved my relationship, and kept me on my xbox360 MW2. You see, my girlfriend would be really upset at me for playing Modern Warfare 2 online. The shots and the harriers flying over literately they would go crazy. So I finally sucked it and bought this headset. She thinks it's the greatest thing I bought for a long time.
Plus - the ear pieces are easy, not even squeeze My huge head, the microphone enterprises and is easily portable, with a mute button, it connects right for my receiver (I just bought a 1 / 4 "headphone jack that a 1 / 8" jack is in my receiver. I get (what sounds like) Dolby Digital Surround sound in my head phones (once again I'm using a headset plug into my receiver does not the red / white plugs), after the audio changes from left to right and I hear what I could never hear. The ability to turn the chat volume up and down is also a plus. My voice sounds much better than with my old Headsets have, and I feel a lot more in the games. I have done much better in MW2, since getting the headset.
Cons - As in not the red and white plugs and I'm using a headset connected to my receiver, I can not say that all the headsets have this problem, but I do get some feedback that I clearly can hear when no audio present. I have a feeling it is the headset jack, which I bought, and not the headset itself. My experience
