Instead of 1080p HDTV 720 only help?
Hello everyone, I so I bought a brand new Sony Bravia 50-inch LCD screen. I also have Comcast HD with an HDMI cable, but for some reason the screen says the picture is only 720p, I want my 1080p picture instead I'm missing something. The HDMI cable I have a Moster Ultra Series 600, I also have the normal cable, Comcast installed also connected to the TV. Can someone help me, picture quality looks pretty good at the moment, but I think 1080p would look better because I see a lot of sports and movies.
Comcast may not shut down a 1080 pic, call 800 and ask them to Comcast Come to your home and check your box. GO with Directv, they have the best HD. I left Comcast and went to Directv and I am so glad I did. The image is much better and the sound is great. I personally do not believe that your doing something I think its wrong Comcast. Please email me and let me know how you yourself.
