Will it work?
I just bought a Sony Bravia Wireless System Home Theater. The problem is that it comes with a DVD receiver and therefore only a component input (not enough for me). 1) I am wondering if I bought a receiver, the receiver will be replaced with the rest of my home theater system (receiver it is my current DVD or do I have hooks to the DVD receiver to the receiver then the receiver to the TV)? 2) Also, because my current home theater system wireless, the signal is transmitted from the front to the back of infrared (the station is in a slot called DIR-T1 on the DVD Receiver), the new receivers have a Slot so that I can plug in my channel as well? 3) last question is if the recipient is done I do not buy, I upconverting 1080p, have done an up-converting DVD player or the receiver up-convert my normal DVD player? 1 and 2-No, there is no speaker work with the wireless system and so it will work with home theater. 3 - Upconverting often gets confused with scale or upscaling. Upconverting switch composite to S-Video or to simplify component or HDMI, S-Video to Component or HDMI and component to HDMI in the interests of your wiring. Scaling is scaling or the process of improving the resolution by intelligently filling in the lines between the native signal picture lines. Often, recipients do both but not always. You can get a receiver that will upscale Your DVDs to 1080i or 1080p and if there is a better scaler than the DVD player I would have done that. Scaling in the DVD has the advantage of the inherent scaling while the signal is digital yet, where if the receiver is connected by an analog component signal (component video analog video transfers), then it switches to digital upscale. Sun bypasses the DVD D / A and A / D conversion. The Hope helps.
